Reason: The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) collected the above-mentioned sample at the import level for testing under its routine Food Surveillance Programme. The test result showed that the total bacterial count for the sample was 394,800 per millilitre. According to the Milk Regulation (Cap. 132AQ), milk after heat treatment by means of pasteurisation should not contain more than 30,000 bacteria per millilitre.

Consumer action: Not to consume the affected batch of the product.
