Hazard / issue 3M is recalling these headsets as they may emit feedback noise (measured up to 106 dBA) through the headset speakers. The potential loud signal may cause (permanent) tinnitus.

If consumers rely on the product for carbon monoxide detection when it does not provide that function, they will not be alerted to the presence of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide exposure can lead to serious consequences including death.
