Hazard / issue Specialized New Zealand has recalled this bicycle because the fork steerer tube may develop a small fatigue crack. This could lead to a progressive failure of the fork, posing a fall hazard.
Remedy / action
- Stop riding the bicycle immediately. Contact your nearest authorized Specialized retailer with your bike serial number to be logged and schedule an appointment for free replacement of the fork (estimated to be available May 2026).
