Hazard / issue The product can generate or retain electric charge when used. The electric charge level exceeds the limit allowed under Australian electrical standards. As a result, the user can receive an electric shock if they simultaneously touch the beater shaft and the earthed metal enclosure.
Remedy / action
- Stop using the mixer immediately and unplug it from the wall. Return the mixer to your nearest Myer store for a full refund. If you cannot make it in-store, contact the Myer Customer Service Centre to organise a pre-paid return label to return the mixer via Australia Post.
