Hazard / issue The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has learned that the French authorities have issued a notification stating that the above products may be contaminated with Yersinia enterocolitica and are recalling them. Preliminary investigation found that the above-mentioned importer had imported the affected products in question. Yersinia enterocolitica can cause Yersinia disease, which causes common symptoms of gastroenteritis, such as fever, diarrhea (often bloody diarrhea in young children) and abdominal pain. This bacterium It is usually contracted by eating or drinking contaminated food, including undercooked meat, unpasteurized dairy products, or contaminated water. Anyone can become infected with yersinosis, but young children, The elderly and people with weakened immune systems are at higher risk.
Remedy / action
