Hazard / issue Discount Tools NZ Ltd has recalled this battery charger due to a manufacturing fault. The internal components can short-circuit during normal use causing a risk of fire or serious injury. The battery charger is not registered with the Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS).
Remedy / action
- Stop using the battery charger immediately and disconnect it from the power source. Return the battery charger product to the place of purchase for a refund or a replacement battery charger when available.
